Sssshhhhhh... I'm not online, okay?
TECHNICALLY, I'm not online right now - I'm typing up my French homework. So shhhhh, mkay, kidlies?I'll probably finish in a minute and then catch up on everything online.
But I need an excuse to take a break from passe compose, so I just want to share something... I guess.
I'm worried about my mom.
We went swimsuit-shopping together today and we talked a lot. She's been going to the doctor's office kinda frequently and sort of brushing off our worries, so today I finally got her to tell me what's been up.
No, she's not dying. She doesn't have cancer. Nothing major, life-changing, etc.
But she's been having a few little problem things. The more minor one is her hearing. I don't know if you know, but she's in a rock band. Haha, I know, right? Technically they do oldies rock 'n roll, but for all intents and purposes, it's a rock band. Pretty sweet, I think :]
But her hearing is reflecting her taste in music, I think. She showed me her hearing test results, and they're less than ideal. They say there isn't much they can do about it, but she'll have to start wearing earplugs in loud situations, and she has to go see another doctor on Tuesday.
They also gave her a heart monitor thingy.
That kinda freaked me out, to see that wire leading to that little machine. She doesn't have to wear it 24/7, but lately she's been feeling her heart skip beats, or start pounding, and it bothered her, so they gave her a little machine that'll record it when she presses the button, and they're going to tell her what's up.
You'd be worried too if it was your mother.
I don't know. I should go back to telling the world what Elodie did on her spring vacation and whether she went to the mountain or not; elle n'a pas fait du VTT, after all.
I still don't feel well, either. Blah. I'm going to write something after I finish homework - I'm determined.
